PARKVALE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION Established in 1980 |
|
EST. 1905 |

Mission Statement To promote a sense of community by enhancing and preserving the quality of life and the historic character of our unique neighbourhood. Parkvale History Parkvale was originally known as Parkvale Estates. It was developed in 1905 by the firm Michener Carscallen. With its distinct boundaries including the old Canadian National Railway right-of-way on the west, Waskasoo Creek and the escarpment on the east, Ross Street on the north and the old Fairgrounds on the south, the area developed into a very unique and cohesive neighbourhood. Parkvale is now surrounded by a set of beautiful parks and its strong sense of community endures to this day. More history… Parkvale Today |
